Ms.
Deibel is a 1998 graduate of Xavier University, where she was awarded
a Masters of Education in Agency and Community Counseling. She is
currently a PhD. student in the Department of Counseling Education at
Kent State University. Ms. Deibel achieved independent licensure as
a counselor in 2000, and received additional credentials in
alcohol/drug assessment in 2001.
Ms.
Deibel has over ten years of experience as a counselor, and has
worked in both community mental health and private practice settings.
Her areas of specialization include depression, recovery, grief/loss
and sexuality. Ms. Deibel has received training and mentoring in
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, and includes the
treatment of victims of trauma as an additional area of expertise. Ms.
Deibel’s knowledge of parenting skill training has been an
additional asset to her work at NEOBH. She currently works
intensively with parents and children in the Intensive Parent-Child
Interaction (PICI) program at NEOBH.
