Molly Frantz is a
graduate of Ursuline College, where she received training in both Art Therapy
and in Counseling. She is receiving
additional training and supervision in order to achieve Registered Art
Therapist (ATR) credentials, and currently holds a Provisional license.
Ms. Frantz has performed clinical intervention utilizing
Art Therapy techniques in a variety of settings and with several different
populations, including non-english speaking clients, clients with medical
disorders, students in school settings and children/adolescents with mental
health concerns. She is especially
skilled in clinical work with young children and school-age children. Her Art Therapy skills provide an avenue of
expression for children who may struggle to verbally communicate their
emotions. Ms. Frantz additionally
enjoys helping parents better understand the needs of their children and how to
assist them to improve behavior/emotional functioning. Thus, her work with young children, in
particular, often includes parent consultation.
In her work at NEOBH, Ms. Frantz works with school-age
children who receive clinical services within school environments, as well as
office-based counseling services. She is
adept at communicating with teachers, parents and other professionals to devise
ways to help children achieve social, emotional and academic success.
