Ms. Mager is an independently licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and attained licensure in 1999. She was awarded a Master’s Degree in Education from Kent State University in 1995, and majored in Community Counseling within her graduate program. Ms. Mager’s clinical experiences have included home, agency and school-based interventions with children and adults demonstrating a wide range of mental health concerns. She joined the staff of NEOBH in 2002, and has focused much of her work on children and adolescents in out-of-home placements, such as foster care.
Ms. Mager has particular expertise in the treatment of sexual abuse victims and has worked with children in highly conflictual family situations. She has actively collaborated with other clinicians in the community to coordinate services needed by families with complex mental health needs.
